About Shelby
Shelby McDonald, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a specialty in the management and treatment of vascular disease. She works out of Vascular and Vein Institute of the South’s Southaven, Mississippi, and Germantown, Tennessee, locations.
Shelby received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2012. She graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2018 with her doctorate in nursing practice with a specialty in family medicine. Shelby spent her nursing career at Baptist Memphis where she worked in both the ICU step down and cardiovascular intensive
care departments. Shelby joined the Vascular Institute in the fall of 2018. She is highly trained to manage and treat all vascular diseases.
She is a member of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society for Vascular Surgery. She is dedicated to providing excellent care to all of her patients.
