About Samantha Hambin
Samantha Hamblin, MSN, AGNP-C, is a nurse practitioner at the Vascular and Vein Institute of the South. She specializes in cardiothoracic surgery and vascular surgery, and she is available at three office locations: Oxford, Senatobia, and Southaven.
Samantha graduated with her master’s degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2020 with Magna Cum Laude Honors and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her career in the medical field in 2002 as an ultrasound sonographer. During that time, she earned a
degree in Psychology from Ole Miss in 2010. Some years later, she felt lead to pursue a career in nursing. She received her RN degree with honors in 2016 and started her nursing career in the Emergency Department at Baptist Oxford. Samantha continues to challenge herself, and she is dedicated to providing the best care to her patients.
Samantha is married, has two handsome boys, and a sassy Aussiedoodle, Stella. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and can often be found at the baseball or soccer fields cheering for her two boys. Her hobbies include going to the shooting range, fishing, and traveling.
