About Jennifer McKee, FNP-BC

Jennifer McKee has invested more than twenty five years in various ways to improve patients’ lives and health. Following her start as a private-duty and home health nurse in 1993, she spent seven years with Intrepid USA as a clinical coordinator and director of the eligibility and prior authorization department.

Mrs. McKee has served as clinical nurse liaison for several home health care agencies and pharmacy companies during her career including: Home Choice Health Services, Home Health Care of West Tennessee, and Principal Specialty Pharmacy. She was a nurse at Senatobia Community Hospital and helped lead an effort to open a rural health clinic in Tunica, MS. She co-founded JennCare in 2015 and has served as a director and senior leader for the Company, overseeing day-to-day management of wound care centers in the Mid-South.

Mrs. McKee received her RN from Excelsior College of Nursing and MSN from Walden University. In 2019, she received her Family Nurse Practitioner board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also collaborated with WebMD to initiate and implement electronic eligibility and authorizations for home care services.

Her professional memberships include: Case Management Society of America, former board member; Memphis Area Wound Ostomy Continence Association, former chairman; Memphis Professional Network on Aging, member; American Association of Nursing Professionals, member; and, Association for Advancement of Woundcare, member.

Jennifer is an avid deer hunter in the fall and winter with her family. She enjoys cooking, farming, white water rafting, music, friends and family. She is the mother of 4 delightful children. Her oldest daughter Kadey, 28, followed in her footsteps and is an ICU nurse at Lebonheur, her 26 year old son Patrick is a staff Sargent in the Unites States Air For and is currently stationed at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. Jennifer also has twenty year old twins in college.
